His Majesty King Willem-Alexander paid a visit to PAL-V during the FME 75th anniversary event, taking the time to gain a better understanding of the company’s FlyDrive mobility solutions.

PAL-V attended the prestigious anniversary event as one of three nominees for the Peter Wennink Tech Award. The company was selected for the shortlist by a four-member jury consisting of Peter Wennink, TNO CEO Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi, Signify CEO Hellen van der Plas, and Siemens CEO Dirk de Bilde.

The nomination recognized PAL-V’s pioneering approach, technological depth, and its role in creating an entirely new mobility category with significant societal impact.

LeydenJar received the Peter Wennink Tech Award, while fellow nominee AQUABATTERY was also recognized as a leading innovator in sustainable energy technology. The event brought together trading companies, technology start-ups, and both large and small enterprises from across the Dutch technology sector.
