Today, Wisk announced a partnership with Signature Aviation, the world’s largest network of private aviation terminals. The MOU is to develop the infrastructure and operational framework for integrating autonomous AAM operations across Signature Aviation’s global network. This includes conducting evaluating the commercial, financial, regulatory, technical, and operational processes required to enable Wisk’s autonomous operations at specific Signature Aviation locations.

Under this agreement, Wisk and Signature have already kicked off a project at Ellington Airport in Houston, Texas — Wisk’s US launch market — to develop vertiport concepts, layouts and infrastructure requirements.
Signature has an incredible reach and operates airports in all of Wisk’s US launch markets including Houston, LA and Miami. While they’ve previously invested in AAM infrastructure, this is an incredibly significant step in developing infrastructure that supports autonomous operations, like Wisk’s.
