| Business aircraft maintenance specialists have a new reason to look forward to the inaugural “Maintenance Track” as a part of the education program at the National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), as they will be eligible to receive inspection authorization (IA) renewal credit by participating in the program.
The five eligible sessions as a part of the track are designed to inform the aviation maintenance professional of the latest developments regarding aviation regulations, safety management systems and human factors, and of aerospace technologies as implemented in business aircraft. Topics including regulatory compliance, human factors and safety management systems, leadership and management and professional development all will be addressed.
The approved sessions, if attended in their entirety, would provide the needed eight hours of required recurrent training needed for IA currency.
“We’re proud to offer these valuable sessions to the maintenance professionals attending NBAA-BACE,” said Stewart D’Leon, NBAA senior director of environmental and technical operations. “Staying current with complex and frequently changing regulations is a challenge, and we’re excited to launch this program to support our community.”
