This initial version is for Type Certification by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Operational Approval to perform revenue service as a Part 135 Operator.

The Regulatory Readiness Level (RRL) is a new metric proposed by Honeywell to objectively measure progress toward civil certification of an aircraft. Developed for the common good of the AAM ecosystem, it provides a clear and simple checklist of the tasks required to complete each step of the process.
