Embention, a leading provider of autopilot systems and safety-critical avionics for autonomous aerial vehicles, including both unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and manned electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) platforms, has received Production Organization Approval (POA) from the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA).

The certification, issued under approval number ES.21G.0038, recognizes Embention’s compliance with stringent aerospace manufacturing standards.

This certification is granted under European Regulation 748/2012, Annex I (Part 21), which governs initial airworthiness and environmental protection of aviation products.

This milestone positions Embention as the first specialized manufacturer in the world certified under POA regulations in Europe to produce autopilots for drones and eVTOLs, reinforcing its leadership in the fast-growing autonomous aviation market.

With this approval, Embention marks a turning point for the industry. The POA certification issued by AESA, within the regulatory framework of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), confirms that the company meets the highest standards in quality, traceability, team qualification, and aerospace production process control.
