Pivotal, a leading innovator in light electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) technology, has been honored with the Gold 2025 Edison Award in the “Future of Personal Flight & Drive” category.

The award recognizes the Helix, Pivotal’s advanced, single-seat personal aircraft designed to make everyday flight accessible, intuitive, and safe.

The Helix offers a new standard for personal air mobility. With its electric propulsion system, intuitive tilt-to-cruise mechanism, and streamlined biplane design, it delivers a seamless vertical takeoff followed by smooth forward flight. The aircraft’s panoramic canopy, ergonomic controls, and minimalistic flight deck focus on simplicity and user engagement—allowing pilots to experience flight with reduced operational complexity and a heightened sense of control.
