Till exempel \u00e4r P&amp;W100-turboproppens motorfamilj, som anv\u00e4nds av flygplan som ATR 42\/ATR 72, tillg\u00e4nglig i effektuttag fr\u00e5n 1,3 MW till 3,7 MW.<\/p>\n<p>Testkampanjen vid GE Aerospaces anl\u00e4ggning i Peebles, Ohio, simulerade olika flygfaser som taxi, start, stigning och marsch, under vilka den elektriska drivlinan framg\u00e5ngsrikt drev propellern och genererade kraft till batteriet. Drivlinan best\u00e5r av motor\/generatorer, kraftelektronik och v\u00e4xelriktare samt styrenheter utvecklade av GE Aerospace, samt propellrar och v\u00e4xell\u00e5dor fr\u00e5n GE Aerospaces dotterbolag Dowty respektive Avio Aero.<\/p>\n<p>Framdrivningssystemet drivs av en GE CT7-motor och anv\u00e4nder batterier fr\u00e5n BAE Systems. Boeings dotterbolag Aurora Flight Sciences levererade gondolen.<\/p>\n<p>Motorn utvecklades och testprogrammet genomf\u00f6rdes inom ramen f\u00f6r NASA:s projekt \u201dUS$253m Electrified Powertrain Flight Demonstration\u201d, som inleddes 2021 och avslutas senare i \u00e5r.<\/p>\n<p>Arjan Hegeman, vice vd f\u00f6r framtidens flyg p\u00e5 GE Aerospace, sade: \u201cMarktestet \u00e4r en stor v\u00e4ndpunkt i v\u00e5r f\u00f6rst\u00e5else av hybrid-elektriska drivlinor f\u00f6r luftfart och en grundl\u00e4ggande byggsten f\u00f6r framtiden.
