Ele conta com oito unidades de eleva\u00e7\u00e3o vertical acionadas eletricamente que acionam rotores de aproximadamente 2,4 m (8 p\u00e9s) de di\u00e2metro, juntamente com uma grande cabine representativa da futura configura\u00e7\u00e3o de transporte m\u00e9dico da ERC.<\/p>\n<p>O Romeo voou pela primeira vez em novembro de 2025 no Centro de Testes de Voo ERC, pr\u00f3ximo a Munique, Alemanha. O voo inaugural marcou o in\u00edcio de uma campanha de testes de voo focada na valida\u00e7\u00e3o das principais caracter\u00edsticas de voo em condi\u00e7\u00f5es representativas de massa e sistema.<\/p>\n<p>A atual fase de testes enfatiza a decolagem vertical, as manobras lentas e controladas e o pouso vertical. A aeronave est\u00e1 sendo pilotada em uma configura\u00e7\u00e3o sem tripula\u00e7\u00e3o, com um piloto de teste controlando-a remotamente a partir de uma esta\u00e7\u00e3o de controle no System)<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong><\/p>\n<p>Abordagem de tamanho normal para testes de voo<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A ERC optou deliberadamente por fazer testes em escala e massa representativas desde o in\u00edcio, em vez de come\u00e7ar com prot\u00f3tipos de pequena escala ou de massa reduzida, como fazem muitos desenvolvedores de eVTOL. A empresa afirma que essa abordagem \u00e9 essencial para validar arquiteturas de propuls\u00e3o, gerenciamento de energia e t\u00e9rmico e comportamento de controle de voo em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de carga realistas, j\u00e1 que a f\u00edsica das aeronaves de decolagem e aterrissagem verticais n\u00e3o \u00e9 escalonada linearmente.<\/p>\n<p>A estrat\u00e9gia se baseia na experi\u00eancia adquirida com o demonstrador de primeira gera\u00e7\u00e3o da ERC, o Echo, uma plataforma em escala real com peso de decolagem de aproximadamente 2.700 kg (5.950 lbs) que voou pela primeira vez em 2023 em Manching, na Alemanha. O Echo validou os principais recursos de decolagem e aterrissagem verticais em mais de 100 dias de teste em 2023, fornecendo informa\u00e7\u00f5es em n\u00edvel de sistema sobre propuls\u00e3o el\u00e9trica distribu\u00edda e gerenciamento t\u00e9rmico.<\/p>\n<p>O Romeo apresenta uma estrutura desenvolvida internamente e sistemas redundantes avan\u00e7ados, e recebeu aprova\u00e7\u00e3o de voo da autoridade de avia\u00e7\u00e3o civil da Alemanha, a Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA). A aeronave est\u00e1 sendo operada de acordo com os padr\u00f5es aplic\u00e1veis da EASA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aeronave de produ\u00e7\u00e3o Charlie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A campanha de teste de voo apoia o desenvolvimento da aeronave de produ\u00e7\u00e3o planejada da ERC, Charlie, uma aeronave h\u00edbrida-el\u00e9trica tripulada que visa \u00e0 certifica\u00e7\u00e3o de tipo em 2031 de acordo com os padr\u00f5es VTOL de condi\u00e7\u00e3o especial (SC-VTOL) da EASA. A Charlie foi projetada para o transporte interhospitalar de pacientes e tem um peso m\u00e1ximo de decolagem de 3.300 kg (7.275 lb), uma carga \u00fatil de 500 kg (1.102 lb) e um alcance m\u00e1ximo de 800 km (497 milhas).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstamos entusiasmados por termos alcan\u00e7ado esse marco importante em nossa miss\u00e3o de tornar o transporte a\u00e9reo mais vi\u00e1vel economicamente, especialmente para miss\u00f5es cr\u00edticas\u201d, disse o Dr. David L\u00f6bl, cofundador e CEO. \u201cA aeronave tripulada que pretendemos certificar em 2031 \u00e9 h\u00edbrido-el\u00e9trica.
