ASKA en JR East zullen ook een video presenteren over een toekomstige toeristische ervaring met vliegende auto's in Japan. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>ASKA en JR East zullen de mogelijkheden voor de implementatie van ASKA A5 in de maatschappij verder onderzoeken, met als doel duurzame stedelijke ontwikkeling en toeristische diensten te realiseren met behulp van vliegende auto's.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>De ASKA A5 is een elektrische hybride vliegende auto met vier zitplaatsen (\u00e9\u00e9n piloot, drie passagiers) met mogelijkheden voor verticaal opstijgen en landen (VTOL) en kort opstijgen en landen (STOL). Uitgerust met een plug-in hybride systeem dat gebruik maakt van bestaande EV-opladers, biedt het een maximaal vliegbereik van 250 mijl.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Als de vleugels ingeklapt zijn, heeft het voertuig het formaat van een SUV en kan het over de weg rijden, waarbij het gebruik kan maken van de bestaande infrastructuur voor opladen, tanken en parkeren. Naast toerisme wordt verwacht dat de ASKA A5 nuttig zal zijn voor noodtransport tijdens rampen, met het voordeel dat het kan worden ingezet met een minimale infrastructuur en dat het transport op de laatste kilometer mogelijk is. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Het prototype op ware grootte heeft een Certificaat van Vrijstelling of Autorisatie (COA) verkregen en heeft in juli 2024 zijn tweede verlenging van het experimentele speciale luchtwaardigheidscertificaat voor O&amp;O van de FAA ontvangen. Het vliegtuig maakt vorderingen met de vliegtests en heeft meer dan 500 onbemande zweeftests en uitgebreide rijtests met succes afgerond.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>De ASKA A5 is ontworpen om naadloos te integreren met bestaande infrastructuur, zoals oplaadpunten voor EV's, vliegvelden, helihavens en start- en landingsbanen, en kan dus effectief functioneren binnen het hedendaagse transportecosysteem. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY is een grootschalig stedelijk ontwikkelingsproject in Tokio dat begon met de opening van Takanawa Gateway Station in 2020.
