The piloted aircraft is built with redundant systems\u2014including 12 engines and propellers\u2014allowing Archer to target similar safety levels comparable to commercial airliners.<\/p>\n<p>Archer will look to utilize existing aviation properties around the region, with the goal of establishing vertiports associated with airports and helipads in the area. Under this concept of operations, passengers would book Archer flights as a complement to traditional airline travel, reducing door-to-door travel times. Once Type Certification is received, Archer and its operating partners plan to safely and seamlessly integrate Midnight into service, beginning with major airports like those in the New York City area. Archer received its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaminternational.com\/2024\/06\/archer-receives-faa-certification-for-commercial-air-taxi-operations\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">FAA Part 135 Air Carrier and Operator Certifica<\/span>te<\/a>\u00a0in June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Archer is working closely with existing infrastructure partners, including Atlantic Aviation, Signature Aviation, and Skyports\/Groupe ADP, as well as new partners Modern Aviation and Air Pegasus, to develop and electrify aviation assets in this proposed network. Archer previously announced plans for air taxi networks in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaminternational.com\/2024\/06\/plans-for-air-mobility-network-to-connect-san-francisco-bay-area\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">San Francisco<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u0648\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaminternational.com\/2024\/08\/archer-unveils-planned-la-air-taxi-network\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u0644\u0633 \u0622\u0646\u062c\u0644\u0633<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Adam Goldstein, CEO and Founder of Archer, said,\u00a0<em>\u201cThe New York region is home to three of the world\u2019s preeminent airports, serving upwards of 150 million passengers annually.
